Who we are?
Walking Talking is vibrant community for immigrants in Japan, dedicated to mutual aid among professionals and students from diverse backgrounds. Focused on cultural exchange, support, and growth, we create a space for celebrating multicultural unity and enriching experiences in Japan. Join us in fostering a supportive, interconnected community.
Why created?
The purpose of establishing Walking Talking stems from my study abroad experience in Nantes, France. I was greatly assisted by an association supporting Japanese students, named "Nantonaku Nantes." There, I formed friendships, helping each other with paperwork and other tasks. After returning to Japan, I realized the Kansai region (including Kobe, Kyoto, Osaka) is populated with many international students and people interested in English-centric international relations. This inspired me to create a similar mutual support community in Kansai. Additionally, leveraging Kyoto's tourist spots for healthy cultural explorations, the goal is to facilitate deep cultural exchanges and language learning among international residents and those interested in global connections.
